Ken Schofield, OBE
Born and raised in Perthshire, Scotland, he began his working life in the banking profession, and at the age of 23 became Scotland’s youngest bank manager. Ken focused a fervent interest in sport by entering professional golf administration in 1971 and has since enjoyed a 26-year reign as executive director of the European Tour, having worked his way up to the top job after starting in the organisation’s communications department. Ken was also a colleague and friend of Miche’s through her work at the PGA.
Mike Gatting, OBE
Mike is a former English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Middlesex County Cricket Club (1975–1998; County Captain 1983–1997). He also played for the England cricket team from 1977 to 1995, captaining it in 23 Test matches between 1986 and 1988. He was the Captain of the winning Ashes team in Australia in 1987. He is currently the ECB Managing Director of Cricket Partnerships. Mike is also a dear friend to Chris and Miche.
